Counseling for Substance Use Disorders
At Lanier Treatment Center, we staff certified counselors who specialize in individual counseling and treatment of all types of substance use disorders. Many of the counselors specialize in trauma and work with individuals and/or with their family members and loved ones.

Counseling for substance use disorders is used to address past trauma, learn healthy coping mechanisms and improve relationships in a way that fosters long term recovery. At LTC, we believe counseling is a critical part of the treatment plan and we work with you to determine which type is most appropriate based on your needs.
Drug and Alcohol Evaluations/Assessments
Lanier Treatment Center offers comprehensive assessments for substance use disorders. Through a state certified counselor, you will be provided an assessment that can identify services offered at LTC or you will be given a referral to other agencies that can meet your needs.
Included in the cost of the assessments are written reports that will be sent to the agencies requested after a authorization for release is given. All assessments meet the criteria for court ordered and DFCS requested substance use disorder assessments.
Drug and Alcohol Screening
Lanier Treatment Center offers drug and alcohol screening for various substance use disorders. Included in the cost of screenings are screening results that will be sent to the agencies requested.
